Arrive On Time
Why This Matters
- Because, nor matter how big or small, Every Drum Circle is a Performance.
How You Achieve Success
- As the saying goes: "If you're early you're on time. If you're on time you're late. If you're late, well..."
- Any change to the setup of a drum circle performance needs to happen during breaks.
What You Do
- Arrive to the drum circle early enough to get you and the circle setup appropriately.
- If you arrive there while a performance is active, wait until a break to join. Avoid interrupting the flow of the performance.
- If you want to be part of the core drummer set, even if you are one of the core drummers, if you're late, just hang out on the fringes.
- Even during the breaks, it's unfair to those who were early to the circle to have someone arrive later and get a better position, unless it was arranged ahead of time.
